The Directernship Opportunity
Issuer Direct’s Directernship Program, is a chance for students (Directerns) to gain real world experience and insight into our Financial community under the guidance of industry experts. Directerns can expect in depth exposure in the areas of Business Development, Finance, Technology, Communications, Marketing or Human Resources.
Each Directern is assigned to an opening befitting of their coursework. Directerns will develop the skills and knowledge needed to become an integral part of their assigned team. Through trainings in research, technical programs, workflow processes and exposure to Issuer Direct’s corporate culture, the Directernship will provide a robust, well-rounded opportunity, for those accepted into the Program.
As the Program commences, Directerns will be partnered with a company mentor who will establish corporate guidelines, answer important questions and advise on issues regarding professional development and conduct.
The overall expectation of all Directerns will be inclusive learning and development in addition to proposals of problem solving solutions, process improvements, team related community service (time permitting), and ownership of a project from conception to completion at the end of the Directernship.
